What are the unique services Miller Advisors provides?
We offer wealth management services, which means we are financial advisors that provide a range of services, including strategic financial planning, asset management, investment management, advisor coordination, retirement planning, estate planning and a host of other services that are connected to your financial well-being.
What makes us unique is our commitment to personalized service and ensuring that your money management plan supports your individual lifestyle goals.
What is the difference between a large brokerage firm and Miller Advisors?
Simply put, personalized service and independent advice. We are a boutique firm with a much smaller pool of clients than the large brokerage houses. We take the time to meet with each client individually, get to know your personality and lifestyle and really tailor a plan to your long-term needs.
We also offer independent advice, and help you select the appropriate investments for your needs. There is never any pressure to sell a specific product like there might be at other financial services firms.
Do you work exclusively with women, or men or both?
A number of our women clients have come to us following a divorce and in need of our specialized post-divorce financial planning services. However most of our clients are part of multi-generational families so we work with couples and single women as well as their children and in some cases, their parents. As a result we have developed skills in many areas of wealth management.
The common thread for all of our clients is that they have interesting stories to tell. They understand the need for organization and appreciate our breadth of services and approach to investing and personal finance.
My investments are spread out among more than one portfolio, several banks and a group of advisors. How can you help coordinate all this information?
It is typical to have more than one advisor as your financial needs become more complex and multi-faceted. One of the services we offer is Advisor Coordination. It is essentially one-stop record keeping so that all of the information that affects your wealth management plan is included in our strategic planning discussions.
How do you charge and what are your fees?
We offer fee-only wealth management services. The fee varies
based on the level of services you need. Please contact
us to discuss your individual account and needs.
I am going through a divorce and need help with my financial planning. How can you help me?
We have a special expertise in post-divorce financial planning. Kathleen Miller is a pioneer in the field of post-divorce financial planning and has helped more than 3,000 couples divide their assets equitably. She has also written two books on the subject under the Fair Share Divorce title.
Our team includes Certified Divorce Financial Analysts™ and more than 25 years of experience working with women to help them feel empowered with their financial choices in a positive way. Please contact us for more information about our post-divorce financial planning services.
